Saralie lived with me for a short time in California when she worked at Jerry's Deli in the 90's. I dont know what made me think of her today - but I decided to do an internet search and here I am. Sara, it's hard to believe a year has past since I have seen your beautiful smile and heard your joyous laugh. You were an inspiration to so many and touched many lives. I look at your picture of Rainy and you at Sunset Beach on my fridge and think of all the wonderful memories I have of watching Rainy grow up. He is just like you; caring, outgoing, upbeat, and most of all loving. Although you are no longer with us, I know you watch down upon us all. You will always live on in our hearts. It has been a year since our beautiful Sara departed this earth. We miss her, her smile, her laugh, her positive attitude. Life has been difficult at times but we have only to look at Rainy and we see Sara..he is his Mother's son. Rainy has many of Sara's qualities, he is a good student, he has a beautiful smile, and he is very positive. He is doing well thanks to all of the support we have received, the cards, EMails, phone calls, gifts to Rainy, dinners, desserts and the list goes on. Sara lived a very full life in 37 years. She loved her friends and family and her greatest joy was Rainy.....we intend to keep him happy, healthy, loving life they way she would have wanted. We miss you Sara, you left us with a lot of great memories and we will replay them for Rainy..never forget you..Mom and DAd |

Dear Friends, We would like to invite all of you to participate in the American Brain Tumor Association "Pathway to Progress" 5K walk/run at Soldier Field. If you cannot participate, please consider donating to our team at www.abta.org and search for Team Saralie. You can make your tax deductible donation right online! Last year this event was at the Lakefront and due to the growth and extended reach of this event, it will be in Soldier Field this year. In a way that is cool, but in another way it is very sad that more people than ever and their families are affected by brain tumors...so many people in fact that they had to get a bigger venue to hold all of us! We would love to see everyone, and we'll try for better weather than last year! What about you? We would love to have your support in person or financially for this event.
